The youngest member of Team USA’s parasnowboard team earned silver for the United States Sunday at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Paralympics.

The 20-year-old San Diegan soared through the snowboarding cross final to earn her spot on the podium, just behind France’s Cecile Hernandez.

Delson was born with a congenital disability that left her without most muscles in her right leg. At age three, she started skiing but found the sport challenging with her legs separated, according to Team USA. She tried snowboarding a few years later and found “a sense of freedom in movement that changed her life’s trajectory.”

When Delson is off the slopes and in San Diego, you can find her cross-training at the bike pump track at Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Park.
