Rocket launcher, multiple guns seized from Rancho Cordova home, AG Bonta says

A man is accused of illegally possessing firearms that include a rocket launcher, California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office announced Tuesday. Photos released by Bonta’s office show three pistols — one of them being a machine gun pistol — a shotgun and an inert rocket launcher seized from the Rancho Cordova man’s home.“Our work to confront gun violence on our streets and in our courtrooms is saving lives, but we know the job is not finished,” Bonta said in a news release. “Weapons of war have no place in civilian hands, and I am grateful they have been taken off our streets.”Agents with the California Department of Justice assisted the FBI and Sacramento Police Department in searching the man’s home on Feb. 10, the release said.Details were not released on the man’s identity, the location of his home and what prompted a search of his residence.
