Vice Mayor Manpreet Kaur makes a difference in the community

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — This Women’s History Month, ARC Bakersfield is highlighting women that are making a difference in our community.

Bakersfield Vice Mayor and Ward 7 councilmember Manpreet Kaur is a lifelong Kern County resident and is dedicated to empowering women in our area.

She is a proud Sikh Punjabi woman and is a role model for many.

Kaur joined ARC Bakersfield to share her journey and how she hopes to continue helping Kern County grow.
