Rojelia “Kelly” E. Dominguez
OBITUARY
On February 26, 2026, Rojelia “Kelly” Escajada Dominguez passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 99 1/2 years old. A lifelong California native. Kelly was well-loved by her family and friends. She and her husband, Roy, worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their children. She would proudly boast about all of her children graduating from high school and attending college. Kelly started working at Del Monte Cannery at the age of 16 and retired from the company after a life of service of 47 years.
Kelly is preceded in death by her husband, Raul “Roy” L. Dominguez Sr. She is survived by her children, Raul Jr., Ruben Aldolfo (Veila) and Ruby Delia (preceded in death by Philip Northgrave). She leave behind 7 Grandchildren: Lani (Manu Sachdeva), Nathan (Alex) Dominguez, Michelle (Ramon Soto), Michael Dominguez, Philip Northgrave, Emmitt Northgrave, Christopher Northgrave and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Her Celebration of Life services will be held March 13, 2026, at Most Holy Trinity Church, 2040 Nassau Drive, San Jose at 10am with a Rosary and a Mass to follow. Kelly’s life was defined by the stories and laughter she shared with those she loved. We invite you to bring your favorite memories to a gathering in her honor at 464 North Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara (neighboring Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary).
