Oceanside’s Frontwave Arena will host its first-ever fight card next month, and it will feature two of the San Diego area’s young stars.

Cousins Jonny Mansour and Julius “Juju” Ballo will co-headline the “SD Fight Night: Family Business” card on April 18. Mansour (6-0, 2 KOs) will take on Perris’ William King (6-3-2, 3 KOs) in an eight-round lightweight fight.

Ballo will take on a fighter to be named soon. The event starts at 5 p.m. from Frontwave, the glistening new home of the San Diego Clippers, San Diego Sockers and San Diego Strike Force.

Mansour said he’s looking forward to fighting at the new arena. He has already won matches at Pechanga Arena (May 2024) and Sycuan Resort and Casino (March 2025).

“Ever since I was a kid, I would dream of headlining shows in a packed San Diego arena,” the El Cajon native said. “Now that I have this opportunity to perform in front of my friends and family at Frontwave Arena, I will showcase the San Diego boxing scene and why I am ready for the biggest stages. Come April 18, I will have my hand raised.”
