I see that the city has stopped imposing some Balboa Park parking fees on city residents while maintaining them on county residents. Doesn’t this just amount to a tariff on county residents?

I’m certain this was well thought out by Mayor Todd Gloria and crew (likely through hundreds of community meetings). Hope it works out for them as I will no longer be visiting the park I was married in 38 years ago. Nor will I be dining or shopping in the once-beautiful city of San Diego.

Oh, and since I am nearly a senior who, by the City Council’s metric, is incapable of using online coupons, I probably would not be able to figure out how to use the park’s fancy parking meters anyway.
