Temperatures across San Diego County are expected to soar 15 to 25 degrees above average today!
A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 10am Thursday until 8pm Friday for the coast and valleys. Expect mid-70s to mid-80s at the coast, and mid-80s to mid-90s inland, the National Weather Service tells San Diego’s Morning News.
The National Weather Service is urging people to stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day as temperatures climb into the 90s across much of Southern California.
High pressure with weak Santa Ana winds will be responsible for the heat Thursday and Friday.
“In fact, there is some indication that temperatures next week could be even higher than what is forecast for this week,” the weather service said in a statement.
Bottom line, if you want to cool down, head to the beach. Just don’t be surprised if everyone else has the same idea.
