The USS Mustin has shifted its homeport from San Diego to Japan.
The destroyer has rotated to a homeport in Yokosuka, where it will replace the cruiser USS Robert Smalls, which is moving to San Diego to be decommissioned.
The Mustin was initially deployed in July of 2006 for a 15 year deployment.
It returned to San Diego in 2021, and is now back in Japan.
