The Savannah Bananas will bring their rowdy and wacky brand of baseball known as the “Greatest Show in Sports” back to Disneyland for a day of choreographed dance routines, epic scoring celebrations, player photo ops and a parade down Main Street U.S.A.

Savannah Bananas Day will return to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on March 26.

The Savannah Bananas and Indianapolis Clowns will make appearances at both Anaheim theme parks with performances in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland and the “World of Color” viewing area at DCA.

The Disneyland culinary team will create a menu of banana-inspired specialty treats to celebrate the visit – including Banana Pudding, Frozen Bananas, Banana-Hazelnut Waffles and Banana Brulee Tarts.

Banana Ball teams will make appearances at Disneyland and Disney World as part of a deal with Disney to broadcast 25 games across the ESPN, ABC and Disney+ networks.

The barnstorming exhibition team known as the “Harlem Globetrotters of Baseball” and the five other teams in the Banana Ball Championship League will play sold out games at MLB, NFL and college football stadiums throughout the spring and summer.

The Bananas will play at Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field and the New Orleans Superdome this season along with games in the college football stadium homes of the Oregon Ducks, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Tennessee Volunteers and Texas A&M Aggies.

The Disneyland visit is tied to the Bananas/Clowns games at Angel Stadium on March 27 and 28. The Saturday game on March 28 will be broadcast on ESPN and Disney+. Don’t bother trying to get tickets to the Anaheim games – they’ve been sold out for weeks.

The Bananas will also be in San Diego at Petco Park to take on the Loco Beach Coconuts on March 21 and 22 – but those games are also sold out.

The Party Animals and Coconuts will play on May 29 and 30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports venue at the Walt Disney World resort in Florida.

Banana Ball features an altered set of rules with a heavy focus on entertainment, showmanship and fan interaction while keeping the on-field action unscripted and competitive.

The Bananas lineup always features an eclectic cast of characters – including a breakdancing coach, twerking umpire, yellow tuxedoed team owner, senior citizen dance team and a 10-foot-tall stilt-walking pitcher.
