(LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ) — The Lighthouse International Film Festival (LIFF) presents a rare five-day acting masterclass led by acclaimed actor and director Jason Alexander, taking place June 7–11, 2026 on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, just prior to the opening of the Festival’s 18th edition, which runs June 10–14.
Designed as an intensive, process-driven experience, the masterclass introduces Alexander’s practical performance technique — a clear, repeatable method that transforms abstract acting concepts into specific, actionable choices actors can apply across film, television, and stage. The program culminates in a live public showcase at the historic Surflight Theatre on LBI.
“This is a deeply immersive exploration of craft,” said LIFF Executive Director Will Kuhn. “Actors will work closely with Jason over multiple days to refine their work and experience the full arc of transformation — from initial performance to live presentation.”
Jason Alexander’s five-decade career spans film, television, and stage. He is internationally recognized for his iconic portrayal of George Costanza on Seinfeld, and has appeared in more than 30 feature films, numerous television series, and seven Broadway productions.
A Boston University-trained actor, Jason has received eight Emmy nominations and is both a Tony Award and Grammy Award winner.
