Five people were injured in a stabbing during a fight at a business in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond neighborhood early Friday morning, police said.

The stabbing happened at about 2:10 a.m. along the 3900 block of Geary Boulevard, according to police.

Four of the victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The fifth victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

Citing a preliminary investigation, police said a suspect got into a verbal altercation with multiple people inside a business. That verbal altercation escalated into a fight in which “multiple victims were assaulted by the suspect with a knife,” police said.

No arrests had been made as of late Friday morning.

An investigation is ongoing.
