LOS ANGELES — Conan O’Brien is ready to star as the host of the Oscars for a second straight time.
“This year, I know where the doughnuts are. I know my way around a little bit, and so l think that’s going to be fun”, Conan said.
The comedian believes the key to success is having a good time and doing things that he thinks are funny, and enjoying himself in the moment.
Conan has been going to clubs for about two months to test out some of his material.
“I just go with a stack of potential Oscar jokes in my back pocket, and I try them out sometimes in like a comedy club that’s behind a bowling alley,” he said.
The former late night host even says he has a few tricks up his sleeve, to surprise both the stars and viewers.
Conan was also in one of the nominated films this year “If I Had Legs, l’d Kick you.” His co-star, Rose Byrne is up for Best Actress, and Conan promises to do a backflip if she wins.
