SACRAMENTO, Calif — Sacramento police are working to detain a suspect in a shooting near Oak Park.
Police said officers and crisis negotiators are on scene with the suspect on the 3300 block of 12th Avenue. Officials are currently working to get the suspect to exit a vehicle.
Officials said the suspect is connected to a shooting that happened around 1:15 p.m. on the 4000 block of Washington Avenue.
Police said evacuations have occurred in the area.
