Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting at the Amtrak Station in Downtown Fresno.

Police arrested 33-year-old Deandre Dewayne McClain, who’s accused of shooting at an Amtrak bus driver.

It happened after midnight Wednesday at Tulare and P Street.

Police say the driver was cleaning his bus after returning to the station when a man walked up and fired several rounds.

The victim ran toward the back of the bus, jumped out the emergency window and broke his ankle.

Police arrived to find the driver also had a graze wound to his cheek due to broken glass.

He was taken to CRMC and later released.

McClain left on foot, but was found Thursday on Blackstone and Holland with the gun, which was reported stolen.

McClain was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
