A man and woman wounded by gunfire in an early morning south Sacramento shooting were treated at a hospital after arriving in their bullet-riddled vehicle, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sheriff’s officials said deputies responded about 3:45 a.m. Friday to calls of gunshots near Sunnyslope Drive and Lindale Drive near Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard.
Arriving deputies learned the pair had gone to a nearby hospital with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries. Their vehicle had what appeared to be bullet holes, sheriff’s officials said.
Investigators were at the south Sacramento scene and were interviewing the gunshot victims at the hospital early Friday, but sheriff’s officials had no information about potential suspects or a motive for the shooting.
