Suspect has long criminal record, sheriff says

MILFORD, Mich. – A 37-year-old Oakland County man is being held on a $2 million bond after reportedly robbing two businesses.
James Arthur-Michael Trammell was arrested near his Milford home on March 9. He was reportedly out on parole at the time.
Trammell is accused of robbing Intimate Ideas in Commerce Township on Feb. 22. He reportedly held the clerk at knifepoint and attempted to stab him before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He’s also accused of robbing Wild Bill’s Tobacco Shop in Lyon Township on Feb. 28. Police said he held a gun to the clerk’s head and demanded money before leaving the store.
Trammell was charged with two counts of armed robbery and using a gun in the commission of a felony. Authorities said he has a long criminal record dating back 20 years that includes felony convictions, leading to the $2 million bond.
His next court appearance is scheduled for March 25.
