MARINA DEL REY, CA — The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is advising the public to avoid swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters at Mother’s Beach.

The warning was issued March 10 for all swim areas at the beach due to elevated bacteria levels that exceed state health standards.
