Are you interested in what the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has to offer? So was Captain Nancy Escobedo. As a teenager growing up in East Los Angeles, Captain Escobedo became an Explorer at the age of 15, starting her 28-year journey as a prominent role model within the Sheriff’s Department.
A mother of 3, Captain Escobedo returned to East LA as a Sergeant, where she patrolled the same streets she once called home and proudly served the community that raised her. Captain Escobedo’s story is one of many adding to Women’s History and the growing role of women in law enforcement.
If you are interested in a career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, please join our recruitment unit on Saturday, March 21st at Biscailuz Training Center (1060 N. Eastern Av., Los Angeles) for our Women’s Symposium. All who are interested in a law enforcement career are encouraged to attend.
One Badge, Unlimited Possibilities.
