The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic accident on Hudson Ranch Road.
The accident was reported about 1 p.m.Saturday and involved an overturned vehicle with a person inside, according to the CHP website.
It occurred on Hudson Ranch Road east of Klipstein Canyon Road.
Details were not immediately available.
It was the second fatal traffic accident in western Kern County on Saturday.
About 2:30 am., the CHP, firefighters and an ambulance responded to a collision on Highway 46 east of Lost Hills.
The CHP website indicates it may have involved two vehicles with one crashing into one that was a traffic hazard in the roadway just east of Corcoran Road.
Highway 46 was blocked in both directions for several hours after that crash.
