One woman is dead and a man has been hospitalized after their vehicle was struck by gunfire, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies responded to the 4400 block of Auburn Boulevard just after midnight on Sunday. There they located the injured man and the woman, who was pronounced deceased, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office said multiple witnesses were on scene, as well as CSI and Homicide Investigators, but no suspect information was available.
