LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Men’s Golf continues a busy March with the second of three tournaments in the month, heading to Tucson to take part in the Wildcat Intercollegiate starting on Monday, March 16.

The Beach is coming off an excellent performance at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational at the San Diego Country Club, where Long Beach State placed second among a 16-team field, finishing in front of three other teams ranked in the Top 50 in BYU, San Diego State and Colorado and finishing behind co-host San Diego.

Leading the way for Long Beach State were seniors Alejandro de Castro Piera and Jaden Huggins. Jaden Huggins also finished in the Top 5, climbing into a tie for fourth place with a final-round 67 as both players shot under par in all three rounds from San Diego.

Those two will lead the lineup for the Beach, with Jack Cantlay playing third. The senior also had a strong finish last week with a final-round 68. Graduate Steen Zeman will play fourth, while Krishnav Chopraa rounds out the LBSU lineup.
