A person was killed and another was critically injured Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, where one car overturned and was engulfed in flames, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 1:50 a.m. Sunday on the northbound freeway at the Third Street on-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location pronounced one person dead at the scene and rushed a woman to a hospital in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The gender of the person who died was not immediately known.
A Sigalert issued at 2:11 a.m. closing the northbound lanes of the freeway at West Sixth Street and the connector roads was canceled at 8:30 a.m., the CHP said.
No additional information was available.
