SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An 18-year-old is facing homicide charges after a South Sacramento shooting, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Davian Sida was arrested for the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man, who the Sacramento County Coroner later identified as Matthew Jhameil Anderson.
The homicide investigation was launched after police officers responded to the 2400 block of Meadowview Road on Oct. 16. Officers found Anderson shot. Despite life-saving measures by emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sida has been booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
