On Wednesday, March 18 at 1 p.m. PST, hundreds of farm workers from across California and the rest of the United States will demonstrate outside the Federal Courthouse in Fresno, California in opposition to the Trump Administration’s new rule slashing farm worker wages. The Trump Administration wage cut rule transfers over 5 billion dollars a year from farm workers to their employers and will increase the size of the H-2A agricultural guestworker program.
Inside the courthouse, the first hearing in the farm worker lawsuit against the Trump Administration’s wage cut rule will be heard. Plaintiffs are seeking a preliminary injunction to reverse the wage cut rule, which has already gone into effect.
