Internet services across the Bay Area appeared to experience outages Monday morning, according to multiple web services providers.
There were widespread reports of internet outages across the Bay Area, according to social media, particular from Xfinity customers.
Xfinity users reported brief outages shortly after 9 a.m. in San Francisco and across the East Bay, North Bay Peninsula and South Bay. Most issues appeared to be resolving before 10 a.m.
The website Downdetector also reported a spike in reported issues and outages from AT&T and Amazon Web Services customers Monday morning, among other firms.
It was not immediately clear what caused the outages.
