FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Six people have been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in west central Fresno in 2025.

18-year-old Karim Williams was shot and killed at an apartment complex near Marks and McKinley on November 15, 2025.

Officers learned the suspects went through Williams’ pockets before driving away.

According to police, a possible motive was to steal a Louis Vuitton wrapped pistol that he was known to carry.

Police Chief Mindy Casto says the suspects knew Kari and lured him to the location, under the pretense they were attending a party.

“They proceeded to rob and murder him — four adults and two juveniles,” she said.

Four of the suspects were arrested on September 12.

Two were already in custody on unrelated charges.

They are facing multiple charges, including robbery, murder and gang enhancement charges.
