The man who was shot and killed in northwest Fresno has been identified as 32-year-old Shannon Ivory.

Officers were called out to an apartment complex near Barstow and San Pablo Avenues just before 1 am Sunday.

When police arrived, they found Ivory in the carport with multiple gunshot wounds. They also found a 22-year-old gunshot victim.

Both were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where Ivory died.

Officers say a fight broke out between the two victims and another resident at the complex that led to the gunfire.

Police are now searching for the gunman, who they say left the scene and drove east on Barstow.
