According to a post from the Coronado Police Department on Monday, March 9, 2026, officers responded to a large gathering of juveniles at Stingray Point Saturday night (March 7), with approximately 200 kids fleeing the area on foot and on bicycles upon arrival.

During a search of the area, CPD officers located an unresponsive juvenile who was treated by the Coronado Fire Department and transported to the hospital. Several additional juveniles were contacted who showed signs of high alcohol consumption.

Parents or guardians were contacted to take custody of the juveniles, and one curfew citation was issued. Officers also located several abandoned bicycles and a large amount of litter and empty alcoholic beverage containers left behind.
