Six people have been arrested, including two minors, for allegedly killing an 18-year-old while robbing him of a pistol, police said in an update Monday.
Karim Williams was shot and killed Nov. 16 in the area of Marks and McKinley avenues. Officers rendered aid, but Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the killing stemmed from an internal dispute during a robbery in which the suspects targeted a distinctive handgun Williams was carrying.
Police said the group sought a customized Sig Sauer pistol wrapped in a Louis Vuitton design, which authorities described as a “prized possession” and a motive in the robbery.
On March 12, authorities searched for the suspects and served multiple search and arrest warrants in Fresno and Tulare counties, police said Monday.
Jaylon Black, 21, Josiah Rogers, 19, a 17-year-old juvenile and a 14-year-old juvenile were arrested on charges of murder and robbery. Two other suspects, 20-year-old Kwame Pree and 20-year-old Jaymari Sconiers, were already in custody on unrelated charges and the same charges were added to them.

Fresno Police Chief Mindy Casto said she doesn’t recall the model of the gun, but it had logos on it.
“This was an internal issue that resulted in Kari’s robbery and murder,” Casto said.
She credited several law enforcement agencies for their work in identifying and arresting the suspects.
The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office filed murder and robbery charges against the four men and two minors.
Pree faces charges including murder, robbery and firearm enhancements. Prosecutors say he could face up to 100 years to life in prison if convicted.
Black was charged with murder and robbery and faces up to 25 years to life.
Sconiers was charged with murder and robbery, facing a potential sentence of up to 50 years to life.
Rogers was charged with murder and robbery and faces up to 50 years to life.
