BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Library is getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with events celebrating the Irish tradition.
The Baker Branch Library will be hosting Shamrockin’ Eve on Tuesday March 17.
The event takes place from 4:40 to 6 p.m. at 1400 Baker Street.
Families are invited to dress in their best green outfits while they enjoy crafts, games and other activities.

The Wilson Branch Library is celebrating Irish American music with a performance by Brenda j. Hunter.
Hunter will play the harp, fiddle, dulcimer and Irish penny whistle.
The performance is happening at 4 p.m. at 1901 Wilson Road.
