SAN FRANCISCO,CA — A 37-year-old San Francisco man was arrested Feb. 25 in connection with a series of thefts at Whole Foods stores in San Francisco that resulted in nearly $21,000 in losses, police said.

San Francisco Police Department said Anthony Drayton was linked to five thefts at San Francisco Whole Foods locations between December and February.

SFPD worked with Whole Foods asset protection investigators and a Sonoma County District Attorney investigator, police said.

Drayton was arrested in the 800 block of Bryant Street. He was booked on five counts of grand theft and five counts of second-degree commercial burglary, according to police.

Authorities said he also was booked on outstanding theft-related warrants from the Petaluma Police Department, Marin County Sheriff’s Office, Los Angeles Police Department, Palo Alto Police Department, and Berkeley Police Department.
