The man shot and killed early Sunday at a Fresno apartment complex was identified Monday by police as 32-year-old Shannon Ivory.
Police said officers responded at 12:32 a.m. to a double shooting at an apartment near the intersection of Barstow and Blackstone avenues.
Officers found Ivory in the carport with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. They also located a 22-year-old man on the upstairs landing of the complex with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Ivory was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died. Police said the other victim was in stable condition.

Homicide detectives learned that both victims arrived at the location, and a disturbance began between them and a resident of the apartment.
Police said the man fled east on Barstow Avenue in a vehicle.
Detectives are looking for witnesses and video surveillance to see what occurred before the shooting.
