LONG BEACH, Calif. – After a road sweep of UC Riverside, Long Beach State earned a pair of Big West weekly awards as freshman Nina Sepulveda was named the Big West Player of the Week while senior Isabella Alonso claimed Big West Pitcher of the Week. Sepulveda hit safely in all four games for Long Beach State last week, batting .615 while slugging .846 with a team-high five RBI last week.
