Noteworthy: The senior set a new Long Beach Poly school record in the discus with a throw of 175 feet and 10 inches at the Redondo Invitational on March 14. Tchami broke John Hubbell’s record of 169 feet and 10 inches, which was set back in 1966. Tchami’s throw lands him 7th in California and 17th in the nation.
