Rapper Lil Wayne is extending his North American tour, which now includes a stop in Southern California.

Lil Wayne’s 20th anniversary tour, celebrating “Tha Carter” album series, will stop at the Long Beach Amphitheater on Aug. 1 with support from frequent collaborators 2 Chainz and The Game. The Citi presale for the show begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, via citientertainment.com, followed by an artist presale at noon. The general admission sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, at Ticketmaster.com.

As a lil thank you for Wayne’s day-one fans, the tour is offering a special two-for-$75 ticket package with code: DayOnes. The offer is limited and available to early buyers while supplies last.

The extension follows the 2025 run and continues celebrating the New Orleans rapper’s “Tha Carter” legacy, which spans more than two decades over six albums. “Tha Carter III” won best rap album at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in 2009, which included his first Billboard Hot 100-number one single “Lollipop,” featuring Static Major and other top-ten singles “A Milli” and “Got Money” featuring T-Pain.

In 2018, Wayne released “Tha Carter V,” which clinched the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, with every song on the track listing charting on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first artist to debut two songs in the top five. Last year, he returned with “Tha Carter VI,” which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, marking his 11th #1.

Wayne debuted his first solo album, “Tha Block Is Hot,” in 1999, followed by “Lights Out” a year later and “500 Degreez” in 2003. Earlier in his career, Wayne was open to experimenting with other genres, including mixing rock elements into rap, as heard on his album “Rebirth.” Although he took a break from blending genres in his own music, he’s been featured on collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly on the latter’s 2022 album “Mainstream Sellout.”
