BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — According to Kern County court records, a second suspect has been arrested in the murder of 34-year-old Justin Leon Randle last June on H Street.
Salvador Daniel Gutierrez was arrested on Tuesday, according to the Kern County Superior Court website. Gutierrez was sought since late February.
Randle was found dead after an alleged assault on June 7, 2025, in the 1100 block of H Street. The Kern County coroner determined that Randle’s cause of death was blunt Injuries and the manner was homicide in July 2025.
According to court documents, Alberto Felix was in a car with two other suspects in June 2025, when the driver, 24-year-old Salvador Gutierrez, allegedly accelerated toward 34-year-old Justin Randle, who was standing alone in a parking lot. Randle was struck and ran away.
Court documents said Felix and Gutierrez then chased Randle toward 11th and H streets, where they allegedly beat him until he lost consciousness. Randle was left in the road and was later run over by an uninvolved driver.
Co-defendant Alberto Felix appeared in court on March 6, 2026. He pleaded not guilty previously.

Both Gutierrez and Felix are due in court on Wednesday, court records show.
