Police tape at crime scene

Sacramento police are investigating a shooting that sent a teenage boy to the hospital Sunday evening, authorities said.

The shooting happened just before 5:45 p.m. in the first block of Restoration Court near Franklin Boulevard in Sacramento’s Parkway neighborhood, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers responding to the scene found a juvenile male who had been shot at least once. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

His condition was not known Monday, and no suspect has been identified.
