ANAHEIM, CA — A woman was behind bars Tuesday on suspicion of killing her husband in an Orange County hotel room.
Andrea Sue Luzanilla, 50, was accused of killing 38-year-old Jaime Javier Luzanilla on Sunday, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
Police were dispatched just before 11 p.m. Sunday after receiving a call from Luzanilla, where she told police that her husband attacked her and he was dead.
When police arrived at the Shadow Park Inn and Suites at 916 S. Beach Blvd. in Anaheim, they found the victim had sustained traumatic injuries.
He was rushed to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The two were transient and living out of the motel at the time, authorities said.
