Local author Estee Perchik Sery will discuss her trauma and survival novel The Rusted Tea Box at an in-person meeting of Del Mar Community Connections Page Turners at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at St. Peter’s Parish Hall, 334 14th St. Del Mar. Del Sol Lions invite public to Humble Design presentation

On March 24, the Del Sol Lions Club will host a guest speaker from Humble Design San Diego, a group that transforms lives and communities by fully furnishing and decorating the houses of families, veterans, and other individuals who are transitioning out of homelessness and housing instability. Batiquitos Lagoon to hold nature walk titled ‘The Kumeyaay Trail’

Batiquitos Lagoon will hold a free docent-led nature walk on March 21 at 10 a.m. titled “The Kumeyaay Trail.” Join the event for a strenuous 90-minute walk up a little-known trail. Head and Neck Cancer Support Group April 9

April is National Head and Neck Cancer Month, and Scripps Cancer Center will host a free support group specifically for patients affected by these cancer types. This includes cancers of the lip, mouth, upper throat (nasopharyngeal), middle throat (oropharyngeal), lower throat (hypopharyngeal), voice box (laryngeal), salivary gland and metastatic squamous neck cancer. Spring Concert at the Village Church

Encinitas Historical Society walking tours

The Encinitas Historical Society offers monthly walking tours of downtown Encinitas on the third Saturday of every month in 2026. Fighting Parkinson’s Step by Step Walk

The Parkinson’s Association of San Diego will hold its 24th annual Fighting Parkinson’s Step by Step Walk on April 11 at Liberty Station, 2640 Cushing Road, to fight Parkinson’s disease and support local caregivers and families of those in need.
