The San Diego Central library downtown has the world’s tiniest book on display.
The book has 26 tunable pages but is only about three-millimeter’s wide.
The book was manufactured in commemorate Gutenberg and only 300 copies were printed, two in public libraries.
The Guinness Book of World Records says this is not the smallest book in the world, that title belongs to “Teeny Ted from Turnip Town.” San Diego Librarians say their book is the smallest mechanical book in the world, as you can turn the pages.
The book is part of a display of other miniature books donated by Alice Miller, a librarian at the San Diego Public Library.
