BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Mercy Hospital Southwest celebrated a significant milestone on Friday with a gala hosted by the Friends of Mercy Foundation.

The event offered attendees a sneak peek at the newly constructed Thomas M. Hardt Tower. This new wing features additional hospital beds, operating rooms, an ICU unit, expanded warehouses, and a new inpatient pharmacy.
