LONG BEACH, NY. — The Long Beach Police Department released its weekly crime report for the week from Mar. 11 to Mar. 18 Wednesday, detailing five arrests made by LBPD within city limits.

The items reported are as follows:

On Thursday, Mar. 12, 34-year-old Long beach resident Samuel Dadap Lambert was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, improper turn signaling for less than 100 feet, and an equipment violation for broken glass on a car, police said. Lambert is scheduled to appear in court on Mar. 23 and has not entered any please yet, court documents show.

On Friday, Mar. 13, 62-year-old Windsor, PA resident Edward Daniel Barde was arrested under criminal procedure law section 570.34, police said. That law allows for the arrest of a person accused of a crime in another state, “upon reasonable information that the accused stands charged in the courts of another state with a crime punishable by death or imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.”

On Monday, Mar. 16, 32-year-old Orange, NJ resident Antoin Parker was arrested in execution of a pair of open bench warrants, police said.

On Tuesday, Mar. 17, 55-year-old Long Beach resident Deidre Prout was arrested in execution of an open bench warrant and on an accusation of smoking on Long Island Railroad premises, police said. Court documents show Prout had a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday but do not indicate any plea being entered by the Long Beach resident.

On Tuesday, Mar. 17, 40-year-old Long Beach resident Thomas Green was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, police said. Court documents show that Green pleaded not guilty in Long Beach City Court Wednesday.
