(FOX40.COM) — A person accused of stealing a car was arrested after allegedly crashing into a residence during a police chase on Friday evening.

Around 5 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of a stolen vehicle. Nearly 45 minutes later, officers found the stolen vehicle. It was being driven by a theft suspect, who fled from officers, according to SPD.

The suspect reportedly led officers on a short police chase. SPD said the pursuit ended when the suspect crashed into a home in the 7300 block of Circle Parkway. The suspect was arrested, and three occupants of the house were taken to a local hospital.
