The UC San Diego women’s basketball squad is dancing again, punching a ticket to its second NCAA tournament in a row.
The Tritons came from behind in the BIG West Conference Tournament final on Saturday to defeat the University of Hawaii 60-48, clinching an automatic bid into the one-game elimination tournament.
UC San Diego made history last season by appearing in its first NCAA tournament game. Now the back-to-back Big West champions are getting ready for a first-round matchup versus Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday.

Game time: Friday’s game begins at 9 a.m. PDT
TV: ESPN will broadcast the game. Fans can check their local listings to find the channel in their area.
Streaming: Those with a subscription to ESPN+ or those with participating TV providers can use their login information to stream the game on the ESPN App.
Watch party: Locals can watch UC San Diego’s first-round game at a watch party on campus. The game will be aired at Dirty Birds La Jolla, located inside the Price Center. Students will receive free food, while supplies last, courtesy of UC San Diego’s Associated Students. Plus, there will be chances to win raffle prizes.
