The Browns are strengthening their defensive line, as they have signed DT Kalia Davis.
Davis spent three seasons with the 49ers after he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by San Francisco and has appeared in 33 career games. Davis started all 17 games during the 2025 season, recording 28 tackles, four tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, a half of a sack and three passes defensed.
Davis provides depth to the Browns’ defensive line that features the 2025 AP Defensive Player of the Year DE Myles Garrett, as well as veteran DT Maliek Collins and young players DT Mason Graham, DT Mike Hall Jr. and DT Adin Huntington in the interior.
Last season, the Browns’ defensive line played an integral role in the success of the defense. Garrett broke the NFL single-season sack record with 23 sacks. In the interior, Collins excelled in the attack-style defense, recording a career-high 6.5 sacks through 12 starts before he sustained a season-ending quad injury. Graham totaled 49 tackles, half of a sack and seven tackles for loss – and his tackles for loss were second among all rookie defensive tackles and tied for sixth among all NFL rookies.
