Co-host Brandon Rodriguez and sports assistant Junior Contreras invite Long Beach State men’s basketball assistant coaches Anthony Santos and Phillip Scott to preview the upcoming season. Both coaches broke down the newly constructed roster, which consists of only one returning player.
Santos stated that this team’s motivation is to climb back to the top of the Big West ranking, with the slogan for the season being “Redeem and Restore.” Scott broke down specific players and what they bring to the table, as well as what Beach fans should be excited about throughout the upcoming season.
Santos and Scott were both excited for the season to begin and gave an in-depth preview of the freshman forward Dallas Washington, who is a three-star recruit out of Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
