OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (WFIE) – Gibson County Sheriff’s Office officials say a a registered sex offender of Somerville after entering Oakland City Primary School on Thursday.
According to a press release, East Gibson School Corporation School Resource Officer Donna Huber alerted officers that 47-year-old Branden Willis had entered the office area of the school around 10:47 a.m.
Willis was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center.
He is being charged with Unlawful Entry of School Property by a Serious Sexual Offender.
