San Diego Latino Film Festival
Through Sunday, March 22. Media Arts Center San Diego’s 33rd San Diego Latino Film Festival will highlight several features and short films that celebrate Latino culture and storytelling.It will also include special guests, filmmaker workshops, art exhibits and music.Tickets will be available at box offices, but the festival encourages everyone to reserve their tickets online in advance. To see a full list of films and watch trailers, check out the festival’s schedule and film guide.Â

Blue Water Film Festival
Through Sunday, March 22. The 7th Annual Blue Water Film Festival is held in La Jolla, celebrating ocean conservation with film screenings, panels, and workshops.The festival will celebrate World Water Day. For more information or to buy tickets, click here.
San Diego Humane Society’s Walk for Animals
Saturday, March 21, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. The San Diego Humane Society’s Walk for Animals will return to North County on Saturday. Animal lovers are coming together to raise money for pets in need. The event is happening at Kit Carson Park in Escondido. You can register online here.
Julian Daffodil Show
Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22. Celebrate the start of spring in Julian!They are hosting a daffodil show on Saturday and Sunday at Julian Town Hall. There will be over 1,000 blooms on display. Admission to the event is free. For more information, click here.
