SEAL BEACH, CA — The 52nd annual Run Seal Beach 5K/10K is fast approaching, and the longstanding community tradition is anticipated to bring together runners, walkers, families, volunteers and more to the Old Town area of Seal Beach on March 27.
Due to the event, several Seal Beach streets will be closed on the day of the run.
From 4 a.m. to 11 a.m., residents will experience closures on Marina Bridge (to/from Long Beach to Seal Beach), Marina Drive (from Electric to 1st Street) and 1st Street (from Welcome Lane to Ocean Place).
From 6:45 a.m. to 11 a.m., residents can expect closures on 1st Street (from Ocean Place to Ocean Avenue) and on Marina Drive (from 1st Street to 5th Street).
From 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., residents will experience closures on Ocean Avenue (from 10th Street to Electric Avenue) and Seal Beach Boulevard (from Electric Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway).
Finally, from 7:15 a.m. to 11 a.m., residents can expect a full closure on Electric Avenue on the north and southside from Seal Beach Boulevard to Marina Drive.
There will be no parking permitted on the listed roads during the race hours.
