FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno firefighters responded to NorthPointe Church in northwest Fresno on Thursday night after receiving notification that the church’s fire alarm had been activated.
When crews arrived at the church on Milburn Avenue, they found the building filled with smoke, but no flames.
Firefighters determined the smoke came from a fog machine that had accidentally been left on, triggering the alarm system.
Crews requested the Mobile Ventilation Unit, a large vehicle-mounted fan, to clear the haze and return the building to normal conditions.
